My brother is out of jail....

Yes my brother is out of jail. Don't feel like writing why etc. However, now he has to have 24 hour supervision. Which is where I come in. My mom works and doesn't get home until around 6 and now my dad gets home around 8 at night. John gets out of school at 2:30. Since I have no job or it seems a life, I'm the one that watches him. Well now him and my little sister. Thank god I'm not paying for the gas.

Anyway, something has come to my attention through all this mess. Teenagers need more supervision than small children. Any old grandparent, babysitter, etc will do for watching a small child but teenagers are a whole other story. First of all they are past that cute kid stage. That's why grandparents don't like to watch them anymore. They are also just smart enough to be smart asses. Which is why most adults can't stand them. They can get into a lot more trouble and need to constantly be reminded that they are suppose to have manners. Anyway, I'm sure this will be a ongoing rant of mine.

Larkin is sick and isn't worth a shit. He is grunting and groaning like he is going to die. He better not make me sick.

Pfft... I don't think teenagers need more supervision. I think they still need boundaries, and to have those enforced (with proper punishments, not violence). Plus, they need to start gaining independence - realizing that the world doesn't revolve around them. Getting a job and getting on the road more driving is a good start. So, in a way, him going to juvi-court has been more detrimental... he can't drive for a year (so no job), he has to be in adult supervision 24 hrs. a day (so he still will think the world revolves around him, since everyone has to change their schedule), and he now has a "record" that may drag him down mentally and cause him to become even more destructive.

We have one fucked up family.

I think John will be able to drive in 6 weeks. That is when the whole adult supervision thing is over also. Actually it's more Whitney that needs to be watched. Mom has her going to her class after school and I think that sucks for Whitney because mom is so late coming home.

Blah the 'record' can be locked. John said mom will pay for it to get locked in 2 years.

please, you think WE have a fucked up family?? yeah, we have problems but our family doesn't even compare to half of what i see every night. at least we all still love each other and support each other.
john can drive in 6 weeks and the record is gone in 2 years even if they don't pay a lawyer to get it locked. the only people that could see it are basically law enforcement, and they would have to contact montgomery county records...which, isn't all that easy if you don't live in montgomery county.

Ooooo. Mom must have gotten her facts mixed up when she was telling me all of this. Doesn't sound as bad as she made it out to be, which is good.
